The conference will take place on 25 October 2024.

GMT-5 (Bogota, Lima, Montreal, New York). The agenda will be displayed in the time zone set on your computer.

The conference will take place in Cali, Colombia, and online. The conference online platform will be open two weeks before the conference from 21 October 2024.

ONLINE: You may join us digitally for free if you live in the Global South* or if you are up to the age of 35 from any region. For other participants, tickets are $10. If you’d like to support participants who could not otherwise afford to participate, you can also buy a solidarity ticket for $50.

 

IN-PERSON TICKETS: We do not offer free tickets to join in person. However, we offer special discounts for residents of the Global South* involved with a community-based organization or NGO, as well as youth up to age 35. In-person tickets are priced between $35 and $110 until 6 October, and between $50 and $160 thereafter. 

*Including low-income, lower-middle-income, and upper-middle-income economies according to the World Bank.

Yes, you will be able to join us in person or online for all sessions of the conference.

If you have an online ticket, you can join us via the online conference platform, which will be open on 21 October 2024. If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, get your ticket here.

If you’ll be attending in person, the event will be held at Museo La Tertulia, Cali, Colombia. Read more about the venue and traveling to the location here. You can also access all the sessions online.

The conference platform will be open from 21 October 2024. We encourage you to personalize your agenda by bookmarking your favorite sessions, join the pre-event activities, connect with fellow participants and explore digital exhibition booths. After the conference, you will be able to access the conference platform and view all of the sessions on demand until 17 November.

As this event is a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions, we recommend at least 1.5 Mbps. You can check on the status of your own connection by running an internet speed test, which will provide you with a measurement for both download and upload speeds. If you’ll be streaming sessions using mobile data, pay careful attention to the download speed, as this is the data you’ll be using.

No. The conference platform will be web-based only. However, if you’d like to follow the conference on your mobile phone or tablet, you’re in luck – the webpage can be viewed on all devices.

You can change your networking preferences on the conference platform by navigating to Edit Profile > Privacy.

You can view all sessions on demand via the online conference platform until 17 November. After that, all sessions will be available to view here.

You will need to complete the post-event general participant survey, which will be available shortly after the event, to qualify for a certificate of participation. These will be issued in PDF format via your registered email to all who qualify. Please make sure to fill in your full name correctly in the survey, as this is the name that will be displayed on your certificate.
