Adrian Enache is a Senior Engineer in the Bioeconomy Division at the European Investment Bank (EIB), where he is in charge with conducting full due diligence and monitoring of large-scale bio-economy and natural capital investments in public and private sectors since 2015. Adrian holds double degree PhD in forest sciences and has over 17 years of experience in LULUCF and AFOLU sectors, with global exposure on sustainable financing of climate resilient and environmentally sound projects. Before joining the EIB, Adrian worked at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna and in the private sector for various forestry and value-chain operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
