Yusuph Abdulazeez is the Programme Support Assistant (Intern) for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). He is also a Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship awardee studying MSc Agroforestry and Soil Management at the University of Rwanda. Before that, Yusuph worked as a Research Assistant at the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Wildlife from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2019. His interest is in the area of Agroforestry as a Nature-based solution to Climate Change and Ecosystem Restoration.
