Wubalem Tadesse

Wubalem Tadesse is currently working in CIFOR-ICRAF Ethiopia in the Provision of Adequate Tree Seed Portfolio in Ethiopia (PATSPO II) project as Research Project Coordinator. He holds a PhD in tree improvement from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain and has over 30 years experience, mainly in forestry research. Before joining CIFOR-ICRAF, he was a lead researcher of the Ethiopian Forestry Development (EFD), formerly the Ethiopian Environment and Forest Research Institute (EEFRI). He serves IUFRO (International Union of Forest Research Organization) as the President’s nominee for Africa and the African Forestry Forum (AFF) as Vice Chair of the Governing Council.
