Thomas Maddox

Thomas Maddox is the Global Director of Forests and Land at CDP. He is responsible for the Forests Questionnaire and the portfolio of grant-funded projects that support the development of the questionnaire. Thomas has over twenty years’ experience working for a variety of environmental NGOs on the interface between business and the environment, including ten years based in Indonesia, working closely with the palm oil, forestry, and mining sectors. Thomas has a PhD in ecology and anthropology from UCL and the Institute of Zoology and an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
