Tambe has volunteered with a couple of organizations in Cameroon, such as the Cameroon Wildlife Conservation Society (CWCS), National Observatory on Climate Change (NOCC) and Support Humanity Cameroon/GLFx Yaounde Chapter. She has vast experience working in grassroots fishing communities and leading Nature Based Solutions to mitigate the effects of Climate Change and promote REDD+ initiatives. Tambe has a strong passion for climate change education, advocacy and inclusion of minority groups. Her experience working with fishermen in the Mouanko community in the Littoral Region of Cameroon to promote the planting of Mangroves brought her to the sad reality faced by these communities. The untold story of these communities inspired her to engage in voluntary services with CWCS. She hopes to share their plight and further research on the impact of climate change and the disappearance of Mongroves on the seashores of these communities.
