Sergio Lozano

Sergio Lozano-Baez is a 31 years old Colombian ecologist with a PhD in Forest Resources at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He has been involved in the challenging world of restoration since 2011. Today, he believes that forest restoration goes beyond planting trees and that the involvement of the communities is necessary to restore the ecosystems. He is the Mountains Restoration Steward at the Global Landscape Forum and works to restore the Mountains ecosystems in Colombia through forest restoration and agroforestry practice in coffee landscapes.
