Hans Smit

Hans Harmen Smit is Team Leader for Abler Nordic’s Climate Smart Fund in Indonesia, where he leads the implementation of sustainable sourcing strategies and access-to-finance solutions for smallholder farmers. With over 15 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and climate-smart development, Hans has worked across Asia, Africa, and Latin America on palm oil, coffee, and cocoa value chains. He has held leadership roles with SNV, WWF, and SHARP, and led major initiatives on traceability, certification, and deforestation-free supply chains.
