Evan Notman is a senior climate specialist in the Natural Climate Solutions division of USAID’s Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation. Where he helps develop USAID’s approach to helping countries reduce emissions from land use change, assists missions design climate change programs and works closely with the Depart of State and other US agencies on interagency coordination.
He is also program manager for a number of USAID’s global sustainable landscape programs including as part of the USAID management team for the Forest Data Partnership. Evan has also worked with the UN Food and Agricultural Organisation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the National Science Foundation the USDA Forest Service’s Office of Research and Development, and the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
