Dieudonné Annir

Dieudonné Annir is mayor of Yoko (17500km²). As a former civil servant and civil engineer, he has contributed to the infrastructural development of different zones in Cameroon. Since 2016, the municipality of Yoko has benefited from the construction of a new national road, opening the connection between Douala and Ndjamena. He was elected as a municipal council member in 2000 and mayor in 2007. In this role, he defends his vision of local green development and the valorization of natural resources from multiple perspectives. Multiple prizes have been won on climate initiatives at the national (December 2021) and African level (November 2018 in Marocco).
