Cindy is an international communicator specialized in development. For the past three years, she has been working with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, supporting 15 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries, developing and implementing communication initiatives with field teams for communities and governments. Prior to this, she has worked for several communication agencies in Canada and Europe, working on topics from migration, environment, arts, to education in English, French and Italian. She believes that we cannot protect what we don’t understand, and she is driven by communicating for social changes. Her qualifications include a Post-Graduate Diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Protection, a MA in International Development, and a BA in Communications and Languages.
