Christoph Eichen is an Environmental planner with studies in Hanover (Germany) and Bristol (UK) and legal clerkship in environmental administration. Several years of scientific work in the field of biodiversity monitoring and protected area planningHe has worked in Germany, Brussels and Serbia, among others, for the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, since 2007, at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Currently Deputy Head of the Division for Central Africa and Co-Chair of the Donor College of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership.
