AKURE Carine, Programs Director at Dufatanye Organization in Rwanda, leads development programs to improve community livelihoods. With a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Rwanda, she coordinates the GLFx Nyanza Chapter, collaborating with partners on sustainable development initiatives. Carine is implementing landscape restoration project, driving projects to rehabilitate ecosystems, restore degraded lands, enhance biodiversity, and promote sustainable land use. Her leadership is crucial in addressing environmental challenges and fostering community resilience, continually striving for innovative solutions to achieve Dufatanye Organization’s mission.
