He specializes in documentary and investigative photojournalism, mostly for National Geographic Magazine. Since 2007 he has focused his attention on man’s intersection with the environment. He is regularly published in National Geographic Magazine, GEO, Le Figaro, Stern and other international publications as well as organizations like the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. He has worked with conservation groups around the world, spending many months in the field in the course of documenting their work. Brent feels that the work of these people is vital, under-recognized and interconnected with the rest of the world.
