Adrian Nduma is a contemporary artist based in Nairobi Kenya. He works mainly in Acrylics on canvas. His subject matter ranges from nature, to wildlife, to people as well as social commentary. Adrian took his bachelors degree from Kenyatta university in Kenya, where he graduated with Bachelor of Education (Fine Art) degree. Starting his career as a High school teacher, Adrian proceeded to to become a visualiser/graphic designer at an advertising agency. From there he landed in Banking.He was banker for 5 years before he then quit to embark on his art career full time in 2004. Adrian has exhibited his work in Kenya,China,U.S,Zanzibar,Dubai among other countries. He was the first National Chairman of the Kenya Visual Artists Network (Now K.N.V.A.A.).This is the national body that represents visual artists in matters that require lobbying and government liason. Notable people that have collected Adrians work include Sir Richard Branson…Adrian’s Lion Painting is mounted in the main boardroom of Virgin Atlantic global UK.The President of Kenya also enjoys Adrian’s paintings, 2 of which are mounted at the entrance of his office in State House Nairobi, the official residence of the President.Prince Yemisi Adedoyin Shyllon of Nigeria also stated that Adrian was the first Kenyan Artist,whose work he collected. Adrian is currently working on commission work (portraits) assigned by the Kenyan Military.
