Dr Adam Prakash received his doctorate degree in econometrics from the Imperial College of London University. He joined the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations as a consultant thereafter. Adams deep interest in climate change and agriculture, and building resilience for smallholders in developing regions facing a multitude of climate-associated risks. In this thematic context, he has recently worked on agricultural risk management solutions in Africa, and extensively on machine-learning for transboundary pest detection and control.
