The session will focus on land restoration in Brazil. Over a 10-year period, attempts have been made to monitor land cover and land use change particularly in regard to emissions and the causes of deforestation. By setting out the example of work done in Brazil, the session means to illustrate an example that can be replicated in other regions with new partners.  The session hopes to elaborate on the scope for measuring progress towards climate and sustainable development goals.
