Tanja Pickardt-Williams, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), is heading the Madagascar component of the Soil protection and rehabilitation for food security programme which is part of the BMZ One World No Hunger Initiative. Before coming to Madagascar, Ms. Pickardt worked in various other GIZ implemented projects, for example as a land reform adviser in Namibia and in the German Headquarters of GIZ. Ms. Pickardt holds a degree in French and Geography.
